Korman Construction Ltd is owned by two experienced engineers, both of whom have extensive overseas experience.
The Chairman, Dr. Gunay H. Cherkez worked as a consultant and contractor for more than 44 years, most of which was in England. He also has wide Middle East experience. He is also very active in technology sector and he is the Director of KKTCELL, owner of Airtech Ltd mobile phone Company and Digitech İletişim Ltd.
Director Mr. Fuat Kutlu has 41 years of construction experience, 4 of which were spent in the Middle East. He was the executive board of Turkish Cypriot Contractors’ Association till 2012. Most of the other engineers and architects working for the Company have worked overseas and have a good command of English.
Most of the architects, engineers, technicians, and administrative personnel have had work experience in their fields abroad. More than 480 architects, engineers, technicians administrative, skilled and semi-skilled personnel on the payroll have wide experience in all aspects of building construction and infrastructure in their respective fields.
